        Hi, thanks for coming up. These are works from the

period 1980 to 1990.  Age 34 to 44 from divorce to being

clean and sober..... ahhh, what a life. A few works are still available; The main reason they're here is to document a body of work. I used only Sennlier Pastels on #400 acid free Strathmore paper.

  A View of Malibu                            soft pastel 48" x 7'   a great place for watching the surfers or getting married. There is a state historical spot here, i think its called the Addams House where they made tiles in the olden days. There was even a Railroad here ! Available $5500.00 it's huge, unframed

     From a drawing done in Ventura on Main Street. I had this empathy with the lone figure in "Van Gogh" yellow, dwarfed by the immense world behind. 
  "BACKSTRETCH"     ( Santa Anita suite)  22" x 28"                                   Actually an early oil pastel. Enjoying life, with a fast  Gold Card crowd, and working with ATTENUATED shapes.... Available. 
     from: the FOUR SEASONS series. While living and working in Beverly Hills I managed to draw at the Four Seasons quite a bit. Beneath all the color the atmosphere is sanitized.....like "manicured ambiance".  "Four Seasons 4 O'clock"   30"x40" Collection of: Steve Vitabile

"The Musicians"   1986  30"x40"    collection of : Rosemary Brown. Had one of my better class shows at Tommy Tangs on Melrose where this piece was shown 1989.It is also a Four Seasons piece.

Cattails Charcoal 30"x40" There is something mysterious in charcoal that holds my intrigue. Done in 1991.

          Sage Brush Cantina Charcoal 30"x40" This place in Calabassas, CA has been  a great hang out for 50 years. Not an easy place to draw in seclusion....but plenty of subjects. Available $1400.00 not framed.1990

Sabino Canyon II . Oh what a cathartic piece...see the man lying in the stream, his head is in the center looking up and a tree growing out of his stomach...felt like i was near the end of life ...yet i am rejuvenated by the waters of this Southwest Desert stream as they flow over me...had no idea i was in my own drawing 1990.   Collection of: Stanly Baumann      Soft Pastel
